It started with a story
that every dog parent knows...

 The moment we clipped the leash on Bailey, our 70-lb Golden Retriever, the battle began. 

 

She'd lunge forward, nearly dislocating Sarah's shoulder, dragging us down the street like we didn't exist.

 

Neighbors would stare. 

Some even crossed the street to avoid us.

 

"Who's walking who?" they'd joke. 

 

We'd force a smile, but inside? Pure humiliation.

We Tried Everything

 

Prong collars that made us feel cruel. 

Gentle leaders Bailey would paw off in seconds. 

Three different "no-pull" harnesses bought on amazon that did absolutely nothing.

Each failed attempt felt like another confirmation: maybe we just weren't cut out for this.

The Breakthrough

 

Everything changed when Sarah's veterinarian friend, Dr. Mike, sketched a simple design on a napkin over coffee.

 

"The problem isn't your dog," he explained. 

 

"It's that every harness on the market fights against canine biomechanics instead of working with it."

 

Together, we spent six months testing prototypes with Bailey and with every frustrated dog owner we knew. 

 

We studied how sled dogs distribute force. 

We analyzed shoulder anatomy. 

We failed. We adjusted. We tried again...

 

Until finally, on our 14th iteration, something miraculous happened:

Bailey walked beside Sarah. Calmly. No pulling. No choking. Just a peaceful walk.

 

And Sarah shouted "FINALLY A PEACEFUL DOG!" as a joke from pure happiness.

Why We Built This Company

 

We didn't set out to start a business.
